We are in search of a committed Senior Therapeutic Support Specialist to become a vital part of our client's team, delivering outstanding care and leadership within a residential facility.

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Therapeutic Support Specialist to assist us in fulfilling this goal within our intimate residential setting.

Responsibilities include leading shifts and overseeing junior staff members.
Address the emotional needs of young individuals.
Carry out personal care and household tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and shopping.
Transport young individuals to appointments and activities.

Guide and supervise young individuals in acquiring life skills, essential skills, and independence both at home and in the community.

Assist young individuals in line with their personal/pathway/placement plans and organizational policies.
Conduct weekly key worker sessions with assigned young individuals and document and share these sessions with them.
Previous experience in a comparable role, ideally supporting young individuals.
Hold Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent.
Strong motivational, management, and leadership skills to support and develop a cohesive team of Residential Support Workers.
Up-to-date knowledge of child care legislation, children's home regulations, and quality standards.
Experience working with young individuals exhibiting challenging behavior.

Ability to empathize with young individuals and a commitment to high standards of child care, striving for the best outcomes for those in your care.
