Key Responsibilities

This position operates under the supervision of the Service Lead or Senior Practitioner. The role is dynamic, demanding, and fulfilling, as you will be part of a diverse clinical team dedicated to advancing the service through collaborative efforts, delivery, and continuous improvement.

Core Duties:

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to children and adolescents, often working autonomously, which may include periods of lone working.
  • Conduct professional initial assessments of young individuals.
  • Provide both ongoing and one-time interventions tailored to young people's needs.
  • Develop alternatives to traditional one-on-one therapeutic sessions, including group work.
  • Facilitate peer support initiatives for children and adolescents.
  • Offer information, advice, and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain confidential case notes and records promptly, ensuring secure storage in accordance with specified case management systems.
  • Establish connections with other agencies and services, possessing a solid understanding of local resources for effective signposting and referrals.
