Therapeutic Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapeutic Intervention Specialist to join our team at ABL Health Ltd. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to children and young people, working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver therapeutic interventions to children and young people, including individual and group work, to support their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
- Undertake professional initial assessments of young people to identify their needs and develop personalized support plans.
- Provide ongoing and one-off interventions to young people, including guided self-help and therapeutic work, to support their mental health and wellbeing.
- Develop and deliver alternative therapeutic approaches, including group work and peer support interventions, to meet the diverse needs of children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and services to ensure seamless support for young people and their families.
- Manage risk and respond to child protection and safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to children and young people.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with children and young people of different ages, developmental levels, and backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing a caseload effectively.
- Up-to-date knowledge of child and adolescent mental health, including evidence-based practices and support for parents and carers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience of working with client database packages and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Enhanced DBS check and ability to work flexibly to meet service needs.
