Pastoral Interventions Practitioner / SEND Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver, record, monitor, and review pastoral interventions
  • Provide early help and safeguarding support to identified students
  • Ensure adequate staff supervision for lunchtime clubs and activities
  • Support classes and raise student attendance as needed
  • Train staff in strategies for emotional regulation and social interaction
  • Assist in analyzing pastoral data to identify support needs
  • Maintain accurate records related to behavior, safeguarding, and pastoral support
  • Promote clear communication between wings, pastoral team, and mental health first aiders

  • Motivated, punctual, and professional with a proactive approach
  • Willingness to train and develop skills in the Thrive approach as a licensed practitioner
