Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Savills Management Resources. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our centre and its visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Centre Patrols

Conduct regular patrols of the centre and car park to identify and mitigate potential security risks.

Emergency Response

Respond to emergencies and evacuations in a timely and effective manner, ensuring the safety of the public and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Incident Reporting

Accurately record incidents and accidents in the daily occurrence book and incident log.

Contractor Management

Ensure that contractors arriving on site adhere to company policies and procedures for contractor management and site health and safety.

Customer Service

Provide excellent customer service to visitors, responding to enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Security Licensing

Hold a valid SIA Security License and Public Space Surveillance License, as required by the Security Industry Act 2001.

Requirements

  • Experience in the provision of security services in a busy environment visited by members of the public.
  • Be SIA licensed & CCTV licensed.
  • Willingness to partake in further on-site training.
  • Able to demonstrate a good level of customer service.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and deal with demanding situations.
  • Honest and reliable work ethic.
  • Well presented.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work in both internal and external environments.
  • Flexible working approach to work patterns.

Working Hours

40 hours, various days.
