Our client is a well-established entity in the Food & Beverage Wholesale industry, renowned for delivering an extensive range of high-quality products to diverse customer segments.

We are currently seeking a Butchery Production Manager to oversee the butchery operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing the daily functions of the butchery department, ensuring that product quality, customer service, and operational efficiency are maintained at the highest levels. Key responsibilities will include leading a team of butchers, managing inventory, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for driven Butchery Managers who are passionate about food quality and sustainability, and who are looking for a reputable organization that offers real career advancement potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of butchers and support personnel to ensure that products meet customer expectations and quality benchmarks.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for all butchery-related activities.
  • Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished goods while minimizing waste.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Assess current butchery operations to identify opportunities for process improvements and better resource allocation.
  • Implement a new production management system aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in a butchery or meat processing environment, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of meat cuts, preparation methods, and cooking techniques.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and customer service abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

This position is full-time and may require flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
