Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Savills Management Resources. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our centre and its visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Centre Patrols

Conduct regular patrols of the centre and car park to identify and mitigate potential security risks.

Emergency Response

Respond to emergencies and evacuations in a timely and effective manner, ensuring the safety of the public and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Incident Reporting

Accurately record incidents and accidents in the daily occurrence book and incident log.

Contractor Management

Ensure contractors arriving on site adhere to site health and safety procedures and requirements.

Customer Service

Provide professional and courteous service to visitors, responding to enquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Security Licensing

Hold a valid SIA Security License and Public Space Surveillance License, as required by the Security Industry Act 2001.

Requirements

  • Experience in security services in a busy retail environment.
  • SIA licensed and CCTV licensed.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and deal with demanding situations.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible working approach to work patterns.

Working Hours

40 hours, various days.
