About the Role:

PSPS Public Sector Partnership Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Director to lead the Business Partner Team for one of our Client Councils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Business Partner Team in setting annual budgets for a diverse range of public sector services.
  • Report financial performance and support the technical team on completion of the final accounts.
  • Manage and support the Business Partner Team in providing management and technical accounting services to District and Borough Councils within the Southeast Lincolnshire Councils Partnership.
  • Develop and implement financial management strategies to support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Provide analytical and technical expertise to support business decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIPFA/CIMA/ACCA) with experience in public sector finance.
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
