CRSA presents a distinctive opportunity to collaborate with partner organizations throughout the rail sector. The alliance has been established to positively influence the UK track renewals sector by leveraging the strengths of all partners and fostering collaborative efforts.

By uniting expertise and experience in essential rail infrastructure and track renewals, the alliance employs innovative methodologies to achieve efficiencies and enhance the reliability of railway infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Establishing and managing centralized rosters for CRSA East Depot, including Track, Signalling, Electrification, and Welding personnel; Coordinating with Project Managers and Site Management to ensure rosters align with planned activities; Ensuring staff are assigned appropriately to tasks at the right time; Monitoring worked and unworked hours while managing working time in accordance with legal requirements; Cultivating relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and contractual compliance; Overseeing interactions with Labour Suppliers to guarantee that all necessary resources are ordered accurately and on schedule; Evaluating Labour Suppliers' performance and leading necessary improvements; Managing site access control personnel to ensure a compliant and competent access control system; Collaborating with Site Management and other Resource Managers to optimize performance and efficiency.

Financial and commercial acumen; Understanding of contractual obligations; Familiarity with procurement processes; Effective management of core and subcontracted labor; Awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards; Insight into client needs and specifications; Knowledge of business objectives and company aspirations; Understanding of staff competency requirements.

Important Skills:

Proficiency in computer applications; Knowledge of track systems.

The following qualifications are desirable:

BTEC HNC/HND Level in Engineering or Business Discipline or relevant industry experience.
