Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Care Home Manager to lead our team at ECHO Supported Living Services Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of our services, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and promoting the rights of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery
    • Lead the team in delivering high-quality care services to achieve optimum quality of life outcomes for our service users.
    • Allocate resources and monitor performance to ensure high-quality service delivery within allocated budgets.
    • Undertake regular audits of care through monitoring and analysis of documentation and observations of service users' experiences.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Be responsible for the safe delivery of the service in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures.
    • Carry out duties as 'Responsible Officer' for the services in line with CQC Guidelines, the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), and Fire Regulations.
    • Implement effective practices that support compliance with infection prevention and control requirements and food hygiene/environmental health regulations.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Support and promote the team to ensure service users' care plans are complete and maintained collectively with service users, service users' relatives, and other health professionals.
    • Develop and maintain a network of professional contacts relevant to the service.
    • Participate in the on-call rota and ensure all issues are dealt with effectively.
  • Compliance and Governance
    • Ensure full compliance with contracts, including any requirements to achieve quality-related payments.
    • Support the implementation of quality management and improvement systems.
    • Adhere at all times to the Policies and Procedures of the Company.
Requirements
  • Driving Licence (required)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
