About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Children's Home Manager to lead the setup of a new provision in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to build and lead your own team, working closely with our client to develop a children's home from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup and management of a new residential children's home, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to children and young people.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
- Build and lead a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support to children and young people.
- Work closely with our client to develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of children and young people.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including Ofsted and CQC standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of working in a residential children's home setting, with a strong understanding of the needs of children and young people.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
What We Offer:
- An annual salary of £50,000 - £55,000.
