Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Residential Children's Home Manager to lead the setup of a new provision in Crewe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a high-quality care service that meets the needs of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Registration and Compliance: Complete the registration process with Ofsted and ensure compliance with statutory and organisational policies.
- Staff Management: Recruit, induct, and develop a staff team to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
- Care Planning: Lead and manage care and placement planning to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Multi-Agency Partnerships: Maintain professional relationships with multi-agency partnerships to ensure effective collaboration and support.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting and financial management to ensure the effective use of resources.
- Staff Development: Provide professional supervision and training for staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Facilitate Ofsted inspections and regulatory reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Qualifications: QCF Level 3/4 in Children and Young People (CYP) or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of managerial experience within a children's residential service.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of attachment theory and quality standards.
- Ofsted Experience: Experience with Ofsted inspections and a proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding ratings.
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence.
- Competitive Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
