We are seeking a Program Manager - Advanced Display Systems to join a prestigious automotive manufacturer on a contractual basis.
About the Company:
Our client is a renowned British automotive brand with a legacy of over a century, celebrated for crafting some of the most luxurious vehicles in the world, utilizing exceptional craftsmanship and premium materials.
Role Overview:
As the Program Manager - Advanced Display Systems, you will oversee the design and execution of advanced display technologies, guiding projects from initial concepts through to final production, while ensuring seamless integration with various vehicle systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical and electronic development related to advanced display systems, specifically focusing on the driver-facing components.
- Act as the ECU Owner and diagnostic lead, managing software releases and hardware/software versioning.
- Plan and coordinate builds, utilizing development tools to facilitate project activities.
- Manage project timelines and workloads, ensuring effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Identify solutions to challenges, taking ownership of the project lifecycle and assisting the concepts team in product development.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with function owners and systems engineering teams to integrate various functionalities.
Qualifications:
- Proven project management experience, with a track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
- Experience in systems engineering, particularly in managing components that integrate multiple team functions.
- Familiarity with automotive engineering regulations.
- Background in ECU development, with a solid understanding of the development process and component integration.
- Willingness to travel globally as required.
- A valid driving license is necessary.
