About the Role

At Tesco, our pharmacy team is at the heart of everything we do. As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on others' lives.

You'll be responsible for supplying prescriptions, delivering a range of NHS and Private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers. You'll also play an active role in our charity support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Supply prescriptions and deliver NHS and Private services to customers.
  • Provide healthcare advice to customers and support the Pharmacy Manager in leading, training, and developing colleagues.
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries.
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.

What You'll Need

  • A Pharmacy Degree.
  • Passion for leading and empowering a team.
  • Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
  • Completion of a DBS check (organised by us) before employment.
