Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and managing centralized rosters for CRSA East Depot, covering Track, Signalling, Electrification, and Welding personnel;
  • Coordinating with Project Managers and Site Management to ensure rosters align with scheduled work;
  • Allocating staff appropriately to tasks based on timing and requirements;
  • Monitoring worked and unworked hours while ensuring compliance with legislative time management;
  • Cultivating relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and adherence to contractual obligations;
  • Overseeing interactions with Labour Suppliers to guarantee timely and skilled resource allocation;
  • Evaluating Labour Supplier performance and driving necessary improvements;
  • Managing site access control personnel to maintain a compliant and competent access system;
  • Collaborating with Site Management and other Resource Managers to optimize performance and efficiency.

Candidate Profile

Essential qualifications and experience include:

  • Strong financial and commercial acumen;
  • Familiarity with contract stipulations;
  • Understanding of procurement processes;
  • Effective management of core and subcontracted labor;
  • Awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards;
  • Insight into client needs and specifications;
  • Knowledge of business objectives and company goals;
  • Comprehension of staff competency requirements.

Important Skills

  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Familiarity with track operations.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • BTEC HNC/HND Level in Engineering or Business Discipline, or relevant industry experience.
