We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Medicines Management team at the East of England Ambulance Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient distribution of medicines to our Ambulance Stations across the region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with stock inventory and ordering of medicines to ensure accurate and timely delivery to our Ambulance Stations.
  • Provide technical pharmacy support to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Deliver medication to various locations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.

Requirements:

Qualifications

Essential:

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • GCSE of C or above in English and Maths.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Desirable:

  • Medicines management qualifications or experience.

Experience

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on medicines management.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient care and outcomes.

Skills

Essential:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of current legislation relevant to medicines management, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
