Job Overview:

Connaught Resourcing is seeking a skilled Nurse/Paramedic to work on a locum basis in Essex. As a Custody Healthcare Professional, you will work autonomously treating patients/detainees under company PGDs (patient group directives). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing minor illnesses or injuries and taking appropriate actions
  • Clinical examinations of police officers/staff injured while on duty
  • Collecting specimens as required under legislation
  • Providing written statements and testimony in court or tribunal
  • Alcohol and drug intoxication testing
  • Mental health and learning disability assessments

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (General/Mental health)/Paramedic
  • Minimum 2 years qualified
  • NMC Registration/HCPC registration

  • Nursing experience in A&E, ITU, EAU, SAU, Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, drug & alcohol workers
  • Valid UK Driving License with access to a car for work purposes
