Custody Nurse/Paramedic Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Custody Nurse/Paramedic to join our team at Connaught Resourcing. As a Custody Nurse/Paramedic, you will work within the custody contracts, providing high-quality healthcare services to patients/detainees. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patients/detainees, managing minor illnesses or injuries, and referring onwards for more serious conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical examinations of police officers/staff injured whilst on duty
  • Collect specimens as required under legislation
  • Undertake Mental Health and Learning Disability assessments
  • Alcohol and Drug Intoxication Testing
  • Manage minor illness or injury and take appropriate actions
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (General/Mental health)/ Paramedic
  • Minimum 2 years qualified
  • NMC Registration /HCPC registration
  • Willing to undertake DBS check and police vetting process
  • Valid UK Driving License with access to a car for work purposes
