Role Overview:

As a Human Resources Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting the broader HR team with essential administrative functions. This includes overseeing employee lifecycle processes, ensuring accurate maintenance of personnel records, and facilitating learning and development programs.

In line with our HR strategy, you will provide support and advice to managers regarding people management practices and policies, fostering a fair and legally compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main point of contact for HR-related inquiries, delivering administrative assistance, guiding employees to the right resources, and escalating matters to the HR Manager as needed.
  • Offer advice to managers and staff on employee relations and lifecycle issues, including exit interviews, family leave, sickness absence, flexible working requests, probation extensions, disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.
  • Gather and present data for business and management discussions.
  • Ensure accurate and current employee records are maintained in HR systems and electronic filing systems, including verification of employees' right to work and security clearance.
Essential Qualifications:

To thrive in this position, you should possess:

  • A CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with various HR and business systems.
  • Proficiency in IT applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing HR data.
