Salary Range: £45,000 - £50,000

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for enhancing the visibility of the brand, upholding a positive brand image, and ensuring comprehensive media coverage.

Your main duties will include:

  • Formulating a detailed PR and partnerships strategy in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager, supported by a PR agency for implementation.
  • Overseeing our PR agency and managing associated expenditures.
  • Boosting our brand visibility through securing favorable media coverage on both local and national levels.
  • Producing, managing, and approving diverse content such as press releases, newsletters, blogs, and thought leadership articles.
  • Establishing and nurturing robust relationships with key media outlets, brand partners, and stakeholders within the travel and tourism sector, including tourist boards.
  • Coordinating and managing media engagement initiatives like press trips, media inquiries, and interviews.
  • Conducting research and outreach to identify brand partners that align with our partnership strategy and commercial goals.
  • Managing existing partnerships to execute activation plans in line with strategic objectives set with the Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Creating a measurement framework to evaluate results and monitor ROI.
  • Collaborating with the broader marketing team and other departments to translate customer experiences into positive narratives.
  • Preparing design briefs for all PR & partnerships materials with assistance from the Marketing Services Executive.
  • Gaining insights into the market and competitor landscape to contribute trends and insights during marketing and product team meetings.
  • Working alongside the Senior Marketing Manager to oversee the PR agency budget and assess ROI from partnerships.
  • Occasional travel may be required, with expenses covered.

Candidate Profile:
We are interested in candidates who possess the following essential qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a PR role, either in an agency or in-house.
  • Experience in managing a PR agency or working within an agency environment.
  • A relevant degree in English, Media, Journalism, or Communications is desirable.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with media, senior stakeholders, and team members.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated project management skills and attention to detail.
  • A natural collaborator who thrives under pressure and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors is preferred.
