Location: Borehamwood Hertfordshire / Hybrid / Minimum 2 days a week in the Office

Contract: Permanent Full Time, 37.5 Hours a week

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will concentrate on enhancing the visibility of the brand, upholding a favorable brand image, and ensuring comprehensive media representation. Your primary duties will encompass:

  • Formulating a detailed public relations and partnership strategy in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager that aligns with the vision, values, and strategic objectives of HF Holidays, with the assistance of a PR agency for execution.
  • Overseeing our public relations agency and managing associated expenditures.
  • Elevating our brand's visibility through securing positive media coverage at both local and national levels.
  • Creating, managing, and approving diverse content types, including press releases, newsletters, blogs, and thought leadership articles.
  • Establishing and nurturing robust relationships with key media outlets, brand partners, and stakeholders within the travel and tourism sector, including tourist boards.
  • Coordinating and managing media engagement initiatives such as press trips, media inquiries, and interviews.
  • Conducting research, outreach, and management of brand partners in alignment with a brand partnership strategy and commercial goals.
  • Managing existing partnerships to implement activation plans that align with strategic objectives set with the Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Developing a measurement framework to communicate results and monitor return on investment.
  • Collaborating with the broader marketing team and other departments to translate customer experiences into positive narratives.
  • Preparing design briefs for all public relations and partnership materials with the support of the Marketing Services Executive.
  • Gaining insights into the market and competitive landscape to provide trends and insights during marketing and product team meetings.
  • Working alongside the Senior Marketing Manager to oversee the public relations agency budget and return on investment from partnerships.
  • Occasional travel may be required, with expenses covered.

Candidate Profile:

We invite applications from individuals who possess the following essential qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a public relations role, either within an agency or in-house.
  • Experience in managing a public relations agency or working within one.
  • A relevant degree in English, Media, Journalism, or Communications is desirable.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with media, senior stakeholders, and members.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated project management experience and attention to detail.
  • A natural collaborator who thrives under pressure and communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors is preferred.
