Role Overview:

The primary focus of this role is to enhance the visibility of the brand, uphold a positive brand image, and secure effective media representation.

Key responsibilities encompass research, outreach, and pitching to potential brand partners, managing and optimizing existing partnership initiatives, crafting press releases, media pitches, and assisting the marketing team with an ambassador program.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulating a detailed PR and partnerships strategy in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager that aligns with the HF Holidays vision, values, and strategic objectives, supported by a PR agency for implementation.
  • Overseeing the PR agency and managing associated expenditures.
  • Enhancing brand visibility through securing favorable media coverage at both local and national levels.
  • Creating, managing, and approving diverse content types, including press releases, newsletters, blogs, and thought leadership articles.
  • Establishing and nurturing robust relationships with key media outlets, brand partners, and stakeholders within the travel and tourism sector, including tourist boards.
  • Planning and executing media engagement activities such as press trips, media inquiries, and interviews.
  • Conducting research and outreach to identify brand partners that align with the partnership strategy and commercial goals.
  • Managing existing partnerships to implement activation plans aligned with strategic objectives set with the Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Developing a measurement framework to communicate results and monitor return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaborating with the broader marketing team and other departments to translate customer experiences into positive narratives.
  • Preparing design briefs for all PR & partnerships materials with the assistance of the Marketing Services Executive.
  • Gaining insights into the market and competitive landscape to inform marketing and product team discussions.
  • Working alongside the Senior Marketing Manager to manage the PR agency budget and evaluate ROI from partnerships.
  • Occasional travel may be required, with expenses covered.

Candidate Profile:
We invite applications from individuals who possess the following essential qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a PR role, either within an agency or in-house.
  • Experience in managing a PR agency or working within an agency environment.
  • A relevant degree in English, Media, Journalism, or Communications is desirable.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with media, senior stakeholders, and team members.
  • Organized with demonstrated project management capabilities and attention to detail.
  • A natural collaborator who thrives under pressure and communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.

Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors is preferred.
