Job Title: Senior Team Leader - Childrens Residential

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Team Leader to join our team in Warrington, Runcorn region. As a Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading shifts, deputising for the Registered Manager, and ensuring the well-being and safety of our young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead shifts and deputise for the Registered Manager as required
  • Ensure that our team of Residential Care Workers are up-to-date with mandatory learning and support their individual development
  • Communicate with the on-site team and raise awareness of individual care plans and their implementation
  • Maintain accurate written records in logs, continuation sheets, and files
  • Contribute to team and staff meetings to facilitate good communication and staff development
  • Provide support and care to our young people, including preparing food and maintaining the home environment
  • Organise and facilitate social activities to promote the well-being and engagement of our young people
Requirements:
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
  • Must have the desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • 12 months experience working in a Residential setting is highly desirable, but we also encourage applications from those at the start of their journey

Working Hours:

The working day can be very unpredictable, and you may find yourself spending the entire morning organising activities and the afternoon providing 1:1 support.
