About the RoleThis is a 6-month fixed-term position, with the potential to extend by a further 6 months. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our existing Consultant Orthopaedic and Oncology Surgeons to provide a comprehensive service in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumours.
Key Responsibilities- Support the existing Consultant Orthopaedic and Oncology Surgeons in the provision of our comprehensive Musculoskeletal Oncology service.
- Contribute to the daily triage of referrals and outpatients clinics.
- Participate in operating sessions and ward rounds.
- Attend Multidisciplinary Meetings and contribute to the development of our research program.

Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will have:
- Registration with the GMC with a license to practice.
- Specialist Registration with the GMC in Trauma and Orthopaedics.
- Experience in Musculoskeletal Oncology and Multi-disciplinary team meetings.
- A personal research experience and a track record of academic publication.
