Role Summary

This position presents an excellent chance to engage with a leading UK law firm that focuses on Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims. The firm is currently expanding and is looking to recruit a Paralegal to collaborate with its established MOJ Portal team.

The ideal candidate will possess experience with the MOJ Portal and is eager for a genuine opportunity to advance within a prestigious law firm. Last year, the firm provided 28 training opportunities, making it an ideal environment for aspiring solicitors. Candidates with pre-litigation experience or those with litigation backgrounds seeking a more supportive role are also encouraged to apply.

In this role, you will manage cases with meticulous attention to detail while also contributing to a team environment. You will handle admitted liability cases with the aim of achieving settlement on quantum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of MOJ claims from initiation to resolution
  • Handling Stages 1, 2, and 3 of the MOJ Portal
  • Overseeing cases valued up to £25,000
  • Initiating legal proceedings
  • Evaluating Medical Evidence
  • Assessing Claimant's Losses and Vehicle-Related Losses, including Credit Hire
  • Submitting Stage 2 settlement documentation via the MOJ portal
  • Negotiating settlements with third-party insurers
