We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Personal Injury Technical Claims team as an Operational Team Leader. This is a key role that requires a proactive thinker who is highly motivated and leads from the front.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving our culture of openness and holding responsibility for the development and people management aspects of your team. You will lead a team of experienced Third Party Personal Injury Handlers to achieve first-class quality and technical claims handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Third Party Personal Injury Handlers to achieve exceptional results.
  • Accountability for team's performance against set objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Performance management of staff, including quality auditing, absence, holidays, and time management, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), monthly one-to-ones, performance reviews, training and development, disciplinary procedures, and staff welfare.
  • Maximize the imparting of technical knowledge to the team through mentoring and coaching.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, staying abreast of relevant technical and market developments.

  • Strong technical knowledge of personal injury claims, with the ability to mentor and coach team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
