Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Lead to join our team at Hunter Selection. As an Electrical Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality work
  • Manage and oversee individual work performance in line with company requirements
  • Manage and monitor project allocation and progression on a daily and weekly basis
  • Develop and maintain good working practices in the workshop and site
  • Oversee correct workmanship and develop apprentices' skills
  • Manage installation of all project equipment on site and GRP substations within the workshop
  • Manage installation of electrical containment
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical schematics
  • Deal with customers on site
  • Manage daily team meetings in line with company KPIs

Requirements:

  • Relevant electrical qualification (e.g., level 3 qualified)
  • BTec or City and Guilds electrical qualification or recognised apprenticeship/training body
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Team leading or supervisory experience
  • CMMS systems knowledge
