About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Paralegal/Litigation Executive to join our expanding Medical Negligence team. As a Clinical Negligence Paralegal/Litigation Executive, you will be responsible for managing the full range of Clinical Negligence claims, including birth injuries, cosmetic surgery claims, orthopaedic injuries, misdiagnosis/delay in cancer, cerebral palsy, amputations, fatal negligence, neonatal, and obstetrics & gynaecology.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of Clinical Negligence claims from instruction to settlement
  • Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to support claims
  • Prepare and draft court documents, including statements of case and witness statements
  • Represent clients at court hearings and mediations
  • Work closely with solicitors and other stakeholders to ensure effective case management
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in law and procedure

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in Clinical Negligence or Personal Injury
  • Strong knowledge of the law and procedure in Clinical Negligence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
