We are collaborating with a dynamic energy organization seeking a Corporate Governance Assistant to enhance their team.

This position will involve managing daily corporate governance tasks for the organization’s collection of UK and European entities, which currently exceeds 330 across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining precise records, including the upkeep of statutory documentation such as registers of shareholders, directors, and secretaries.
  • Engaging with external regulatory bodies and advisors, including legal professionals and auditors.
  • Ensuring that all Group entities adhere to statutory obligations.
  • Supporting the necessary approvals and documentation for standard business activities such as funding disbursements, share acquisitions, entity formations/dissolutions/acquisitions/divestitures, and changes in directorship, among others.

Required Qualifications:

  • ICSA Certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate governance
  • Proficiency in drafting corporate governance documents, coordinating submissions, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law (including the Companies Act 2006), corporate governance practices, and administrative experience acquired in a similar, fast-paced setting.
