Position Summary: As a Lead Sales Strategist, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and establishing strategic partnerships. This is a full-time remote position that requires a deep understanding of the FinTech landscape and a proven track record in sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the acquisition of new business and partnerships through effective prospecting, qualification, and contract negotiations.
  • Identify and target key client segments to enhance our client's platform reach.
  • Generate and execute new partnership opportunities, including evaluating proposals and driving negotiations.
  • Conduct regular reviews with senior leadership to promote partnerships and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee partner onboarding processes, including sales and product training.
  • Manage partner relationships, maintaining accurate pipeline reports and ensuring partner success.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets set for the business.
  • Negotiate business terms and analyze contracts with strategic technology partners, collaborating with internal stakeholders as necessary.
  • Drive new business revenues from financial institutions and emerging markets.
  • Develop product offerings that meet the needs of clients and their customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales leadership role.
  • Prior experience in the African market is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full-cycle B2B sales process, including onboarding and partnership management.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to close deals and drive results.
  • Strong understanding of the FinTech and cryptocurrency sectors.
  • Experience in selling API solutions and managing third-party distribution channels.
  • Ability to collaborate with product teams to enhance API feature adoption.
  • Comfortable working in a transparent and non-political environment.
