This role will oversee a high-performing team of Sales Operations Managers across various regions, ensuring that all internal performance indicators are achieved. The position is essential for managing operational functions that drive revenue and profitability for designated retail accounts. - Introduce best practices for forecasting rigor, grounded in SharkNinja's Success Drivers and Leadership Principles, by collaborating with operations directors across the global business.
- Anticipate and mitigate stock risks associated with extended lead times and significant events, ensuring minimal impact on business performance.
- Drive the necessity for future planning (rolling 12–18-month forecast) during each budget cycle.
- Facilitate collaboration between Country, Region, and Global teams on forecasting and strategy, aligning expectations and executing within the EMEA business.
- Work closely with Global Demand Planning to ensure equitable allocation versus forecasting, minimizing potential stock shortages.
- Serve as the subject matter expert, training Sales Operations Managers and Sales teams to effectively utilize the internal forecasting tool.
- Leverage inbound flow and outbound requirements to collaborate with country sales leads on SKU/Country/Account allocation, updating the forecasting tool as necessary.
- Become a key resource for customer-specific requirements, communicating these to cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution.
- Train SOMs to utilize market data and weekly trends to identify risks and opportunities, enabling agile and reliable demand projections.
- Collaborate closely with customer demand planning teams, sales directors, and supply chain management on all aspects of forecasting and inventory planning.
- Act as a liaison between Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Product Development, and Brand Marketing.
- Lead monthly forecasting meetings with country leads to align on overall budget and adjustments.
- Work with internal teams to plan promotions based on inventory availability and seasonality, ensuring the SOM team collaborates with sales during promotional periods.
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue goals and enhance market penetration.
- Represent the operations team as the Oracle ERP business lead, driving continuous system enhancements and prioritizing business needs.
- Lead special projects and reporting initiatives to support overall EMEA growth and business optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience on both the retailer and vendor sides of the business, ideally with roles in sales and demand planning.
- 7+ years of experience in retail, demonstrating a successful track record in driving revenue growth and meeting performance indicators.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse group of sales professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to formulate and execute sales strategies and initiatives to meet business objectives.
- High proficiency in using forecasting tools to manage projections; experience with the internal forecasting tool is preferred.
Commitment to Diversity:
- As a corporate citizen, support SharkNinja's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy.
- Act as an ally and seek internal champions.
- Engage with SharkNinja's Employee Resource Groups or volunteer for committees that organize diversity-related events.
- Participate in employee engagement surveys and respond candidly.
- Enhance cultural competence by learning about the diverse backgrounds of colleagues.
- Practice treating others as they wish to be treated.
