Position Overview:

A prominent IT services provider is seeking a dedicated IT Helpdesk Engineer to enhance their team. This role involves a range of technical and coordination responsibilities aimed at fulfilling client needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and optimize network and PC systems.
  • Conduct thorough planning and design for customer networks and PCs.
  • Configure security elements for networks, PCs, and desktops, ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Manage migration planning and execution, providing support for PC and call center systems.
  • Conduct proof of concept and acceptance testing, alongside vendor negotiation and management.
  • Develop and implement new features and services to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Oversee project and service delivery schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting and act as an escalation point for customer issues.
  • Maintain secure operations and ensure a tidy working environment.
  • Document processes for implementation and modifications, and visit client sites as necessary for project or maintenance work.
  • Regularly report status updates to the line manager.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of PC software including Microsoft WIN 10/11, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve technical inquiries efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to support all customer service areas across regions.

Compensation:

Salary will be commensurate with experience, with additional travel expenses covered as per company policy.

Employment Type:

This is a contract position with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
