Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Factors Senior Consultant to join our established and successful Human and Organisational Factors team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the continued growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Human Factors projects in the nuclear industry for our key clients, providing specialist support and expertise.
  • Develop and apply Human Factors skills and knowledge to a wide range of projects, including Human Factors Integration, Human Reliability Assessment, and substantiation.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver technical projects, ensuring strong client relationships and interaction.
  • Develop and pursue your career interests, with opportunities for personal development in technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, mentoring, and management of complex projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years' total experience in the application of Human Factors.
  • At least 5 years' experience applying Human Factors skills and knowledge within the UK Nuclear Industry.
  • Technical knowledge in Human Factors, including Human Factors Integration, Human Reliability Assessment, and substantiation.
  • Confidence to engage with clients and assume responsibility for delivering technical projects.
  • Enthusiasm to develop your Human Factors skillset and to challenge yourself.
  • High level of IT proficiency, computer literacy, and MS Office Suite.
  • Good report writing and presentation skills.
  • Degree qualified (Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate) in Ergonomics/Human Factors, or can demonstrate HF competency e.g. through Chartership.
