We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Instructor to join our team at Gibb Group - Trauma Resus. As an Associate Instructor, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality training courses across the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Course Delivery: Effectively deliver Trauma Resus courses, ensuring that learners receive comprehensive and engaging training.
- Support and Collaboration: Support other instructors delivering courses, act as a professional subject matter expert, and represent the values and ethos of Trauma Resus.
- Equipment Management: Ensure all training equipment used on courses is in good condition and fit for purpose, provide advice on procurement, and support the clinical governance committee.
- Quality Assurance: Work with the lead IQA to ensure all external accreditation criteria are fulfilled and maintained.
- Event Support: Support Trauma Resus exhibitions and conferences as required.
- Quality Improvement: Work on various quality improvement projects as directed by the head of training.
- Clinical Experience: Current professional registration with either GMC, NMC, or HCPC, and clinical practice dealing with patients suffering from trauma and requiring resuscitation.
- Teaching Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching & Assessing qualification or equivalent.
- Driving License: Full UK driving license.
- ILS / PLS / Trauma Training: ILS / PLS / Trauma training or equivalent.
- Human Factors: Human Factors knowledge and experience.
- Leadership & Management: Leadership & Management qualifications and experience.
- Risk Management: Risk Management knowledge and experience.
- Internal Quality Assurance: Internal Quality Assurance experience.
- Drive and Self-Motivation: Drive and self-motivation, with the desire and commitment to succeed, deliver excellence, and make positive change.
- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport.
- Collaboration: Ability to work well with others across diverse backgrounds to share information, develop skills, and deliver results.
