Job Title: Associate Instructor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Instructor to join our team at Clarkson PLC. As an Associate Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of training courses across the UK and Europe, focusing on first aid and resuscitation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality training courses to learners, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Support other instructors in delivering courses and maintaining high standards of training delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert, representing the values and ethos of Clarkson PLC.
- Ensure all training equipment is in good condition and fit for purpose.
- Provide advice on equipment procurement and support the clinical governance committee.
- Work with the lead IQA to ensure external accreditation criteria are met.
- Support exhibitions and conferences as required.
- Escalate concerns to the clinical governance faculty as needed.
Requirements:
- Current professional registration with GMC, NMC, or HCPC.
- ILS/PLS/Trauma training or equivalent.
- Level 3 Teaching and Assessing qualification or equivalent.
- Human Factors knowledge.
- Full UK driving license.
- Leadership and Management skills.
- Risk Management knowledge.
- Internal Quality Assurance experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Clinical practice experience dealing with trauma patients.
- Pre-hospital care experience.
- Delivering training to staff at different grades.
- Building and maintaining training packages.
- Influencing people outside the organization.
- Working with accrediting bodies.
