Job Title: Associate Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Instructor to join our team at Clarkson PLC. As an Associate Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training courses to a variety of audiences across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training courses on first aid, trauma care, and emergency response
  • Support other instructors in delivering courses
  • Act as a subject matter expert and represent the values and ethos of Clarkson PLC
  • Ensure all training equipment is in good working order and fit for purpose
  • Provide advice on equipment procurement and support the clinical governance committee
  • Work with the lead IQA to ensure all external accreditation criteria are met
  • Support exhibitions and conferences as required
  • Escalate concerns to a member of the clinical governance faculty as needed

Requirements:

  • Current professional registration with GMC, NMC, or HCPC
  • ILS/PLS/Trauma training or equivalent
  • Level 3 Teaching and Assessing qualification or equivalent
  • Human Factors
  • Full UK driving license
  • Leadership and Management
  • Risk Management
  • Internal Quality Assurance

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Clinical practice dealing with patients suffering from trauma and requiring resuscitation
  • Pre-hospital care
  • Delivering training to a range of staff at different grades
  • Building and maintaining training packages
  • Influencing people outside of your organisation
  • Working with accrediting bodies
