About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced First Aid Instructor to join our team at Gibb Group - Trauma Resus. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of advanced first aid courses across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality training courses to a variety of learners, including IEC Intermediate and Advanced courses, EURIECA courses, First Response Emergency Care courses, and Requalification courses.
  • Support other instructors in delivering courses and act as a subject matter expert, representing the values and ethos of Trauma Resus.
  • Ensure all training equipment is in good working order and fit for purpose, and provide advice on procurement as needed.
  • Work with the clinical governance committee to ensure all external accreditation criteria are met and maintained.
  • Support Trauma Resus exhibitions and conferences as required, and assist with the preparation of equipment orders.
  • Evaluate and escalate concerns to a member of the clinical governance faculty as necessary.
  • Contribute to quality improvement projects as directed by the head of training.
Requirements
  • Current professional registration with either GMC, NMC, or HCPC.
  • Level 3 Teaching and Assessing qualification or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving license.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • ILS/PLS/Trauma training or equivalent.
  • Human Factors.
  • Leadership and Management.

  • Internal Quality Assurance.
