Position: Human Resources and Culture Coordinator (Apprenticeship)


Our client is seeking a Human Resources and Culture Coordinator (Apprentice) to assist in delivering a thorough, proactive, and high-quality Human Resources Service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Human Resources and Culture Manager to offer support, advice, and guidance to supervisors on the effective execution of all policies and processes related to the complete employee lifecycle.
  • Handle minor employee relations matters with assistance from the Human Resources and Culture Manager.
  • Prepare and distribute HR documentation, including contracts, invitation letters, and outcome letters with guidance from the Human Resources and Culture Manager.
  • Act as the note-taker in HR meetings, including team discussions, investigations, disciplinary actions, and appeals.
  • Assist managers with recruitment processes and campaigns.
  • Provide support and direction to colleagues regarding policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • English Language and Mathematics GCSE or equivalent grade C or above
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage and prioritize your workload
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Awareness of the significance of confidentiality
  • Capability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality

The apprenticeship will be offered in collaboration with Crosby training, a provider of industry-led apprenticeships. They deliver the 18-to-24-month HR Support Level 3 program. Apprentices will work on the job while receiving 20% off-the-job training from experts. Training sessions are conducted virtually in half-day classrooms, held monthly. Apprentices will also gain on-the-job experience in the workplace. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, there will be an additional assessment to obtain CIPD qualification.


Compensation:
£29,269 per annum (Scale point 18), with progression by increments to £32,076 per annum (Scale point 23)

Working Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed-term contract for 18 months, with the potential for permanent employment thereafter.
