Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in leading teams and managing projects to join our organization as a Head of Mechanical Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Mechanical Engineers to develop and implement departmental policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Project Management: Oversee the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize strong knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and engineering software to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement departmental strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within a Mechanical Engineering department, with extensive experience in the development of consumer-based products.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and engineering software; proficiency in CAD design tools (2D/3D) and mechanical simulation tools (ANSYS); excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
