Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As an Ecologist, you will play a key role in our environmental consultancy services, working on a range of projects that involve ecological surveys, assessments, and innovative environmental management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of protected species surveys to identify and mitigate potential environmental impacts.
  • Develop and implement Ecological Impact Assessments (EIA) to inform project decisions.
  • Prepare and submit a range of Ecological reports, including Preliminary Ecological Assessments (PEA), Preliminary Risk Assessments (PRA), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), and Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA).
  • Liaise with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Prepare fee proposals and contribute to business development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in ecological consulting, with a strong understanding of environmental regulations and policies.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
