About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Acoustic Consultant to join our team at RPS Group. As a key member of our Air Quality and Noise Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects that create shared value in a complex, urbanising, and resource-scarce world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop advanced expertise in one or more specialist areas of acoustics consultancy, enhancing your skills and enabling you to develop and shape your career at RPS Group.
  • Be technically sound across the main environmental acoustics areas, including noise and vibration assessment, noise and vibration monitoring, and computer modelling techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with current methods, legislation, procedures, and standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and external bodies to build, maintain, and consolidate working relationships.
  • Travel to project sites as required, with a full clean UK driving license.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good financial and project management skills.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills.
  • Numerical proficiency and IT literacy in mapping, acoustic modelling, and AutoCAD.
