Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction noise and vibration deliverables
- Handle complaints and incidents related to noise and vibration
- Ensure compliance with environmental requirements and technical specifications
- Arrange noise insulation or temporary rehousing as needed
- Provide evidence for reviews and audits
Requirements:
- Membership of the Institute of Acoustics
- Practical experience in mitigating construction noise and vibration from major infrastructure schemes
- Knowledge of noise and vibration Environmental Impact Assessment processes
- Environmental legislation and impact mitigation
- Dealing with statutory authorities
- Ability to manage construction noise and vibration risks and their impacts
