About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigated Motor Fraud Lawyer to join our team at Keoghs. As a Litigated Motor Fraud Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling a range of suspected fraudulent insurance claims, including bogus passengers, staged/contrived claims, and fraudulent exaggeration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run fraud cases from the point of litigation through to resolution
  • Strategic excellence: detailed review and analysis of evidence, setting case strategy, and identifying strategic litigation opportunities
  • Client excellence: running files in accordance with client guidelines, ensuring maximum client satisfaction, and achieving client and internal KPIs
  • Technical excellence: liaising with involved parties, carrying out investigations, and achieving the best result in litigation
  • Financial excellence: working in an efficient and effective manner, retaining profitability, and achieving financial targets
  • Cultural excellence: adhering to our values

Requirements:

  • Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler
  • Experience of handling RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated case load
  • Understanding of insurance litigation practice and processes, together with indemnity principles
  • Knowledge of the litigation process, working knowledge of the CPR, and relevant Personal Injury Protocols
  • Good advocacy skills, client care skills, and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, keep to deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills and experience of time recording and billing systems
