ROLE SUMMARY
As the Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager at a Barchester care facility, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the high-quality care we are renowned for. Collaborating closely with the General Manager and assuming leadership responsibilities in their absence, you will be involved in various aspects from maintaining care standards to inspiring your team. You will motivate a multidisciplinary team to ensure that every resident enjoys the highest possible quality of life. This entails leading by example and overseeing standards through regular evaluations, supervised clinical practices, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

YOUR PROFILE
To qualify for the position of Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager, you must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration and possess a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. Experience in assisting residents with diverse health requirements is essential, as is a proven history of managing safeguarding inquiries and clinical risk assessments. We will also seek some HR experience, a solid understanding of sales and marketing, knowledge of budget management, and a record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. Above all, you should be compassionate, resilient, and committed to delivering quality care in our dynamic and supportive environment.
