ROLE SUMMARY
As the Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager at a Barchester care facility, you will play a crucial role in upholding the high standards of care we are recognized for. Collaborating closely with the General Manager and stepping into leadership roles during their absence, you will be involved in various responsibilities, from maintaining care quality to inspiring your team. Your leadership will motivate a multidisciplinary team to ensure every resident enjoys the highest quality of life. This includes leading by example and conducting regular audits, overseeing clinical practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. CANDIDATE PROFILE
To qualify for the position of Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager, you must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with active NMC registration and possess a qualification in teaching, mentoring, or supervision. Experience in assisting residents with diverse health requirements is essential, along with a proven history of managing safeguarding inquiries and clinical risk evaluations. Additionally, some HR experience, a solid understanding of sales and marketing, budget management skills, and a record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship are important. Above all, you should be compassionate, resilient, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a dynamic and engaging environment.
