ROLE SUMMARY
As the Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager at a Barchester care facility, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of the high-quality care we are renowned for. Collaborating closely with the General Manager and assuming leadership responsibilities in their absence, you will be involved in various aspects, from maintaining care standards to inspiring your team. You will motivate a multidisciplinary team to ensure every resident enjoys the highest possible quality of life. This entails leading by example and overseeing standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will establish the highest benchmarks and leverage your expertise to develop and implement strategies that will help you meet your objectives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
To qualify for the position of Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager, you must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration and possess a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. Experience in assisting residents with varying health needs is essential, along with a proven history of managing safeguarding inquiries and clinical risk evaluations. We will also seek some HR experience, a solid understanding of sales and marketing, knowledge of budget management, and a record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. Ultimately, you should be compassionate, resilient, and committed to delivering exceptional care in our dynamic and engaging environment.
