ROLE SUMMARY
As the Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager at a Barchester care facility, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of care we are recognized for. Collaborating closely with the General Manager and assuming leadership responsibilities in their absence, you will be involved in various aspects, from ensuring care quality to motivating your team. Your leadership will inspire a multidisciplinary team to assist every resident in achieving the highest possible quality of life. This entails leading by example and ensuring compliance through regular audits, supervised clinical practices, and adherence to regulatory standards. You will establish the highest benchmarks and utilize your expertise to formulate and implement strategies that align with your objectives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
To qualify for the position of Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager, you must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration and possess a qualification in teaching, mentoring, or supervision. Experience in supporting residents with diverse health requirements is essential, along with a proven history of managing safeguarding inquiries and clinical risk evaluations. We will also seek candidates with some HR experience, a solid understanding of sales and marketing, budget management skills, and a successful track record of guiding newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. Above all, you should embody compassion, resilience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care in a dynamic and engaging environment.
