ROLE SUMMARY
As the Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager at a Barchester care facility, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the high-quality care we are renowned for. Collaborating closely with the General Manager and stepping into leadership roles in their absence, you will be involved in various aspects, from maintaining care standards to inspiring your team. Your leadership will motivate a multidisciplinary team to ensure that every resident experiences the highest possible quality of life. This involves leading by example and overseeing standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will establish the highest standards and utilize your expertise to create and implement strategies that will help you meet your objectives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
To qualify for the role of Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager, you must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration and possess a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. Experience in assisting residents with varying health requirements is essential, as is a proven history of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. Additionally, some HR experience, a solid understanding of sales and marketing, knowledge of budget management, and a successful record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship are important. Above all, you should be compassionate, resilient, and committed to delivering exceptional care in a dynamic and engaging environment.
