ROLE SUMMARY
As the Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager at a Barchester care facility, you will assist in delivering the high-quality care for which we are recognized. Collaborating closely with the General Manager and stepping into leadership roles during their absence, you will be involved in various aspects from maintaining care standards to inspiring your team. You will motivate a multidisciplinary team to ensure that every resident experiences the highest possible quality of life. This involves leading by example and overseeing standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will establish the highest benchmarks and utilize your expertise to formulate and implement strategies that will help you meet your objectives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
To qualify as a Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager, you must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration and possess a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. Experience in assisting residents with diverse health requirements is essential, along with a proven history of managing safeguarding inquiries and clinical risk evaluations. We will also seek some HR experience, a solid understanding of sales and marketing, familiarity with budget management, and a history of guiding newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. Ultimately, you should be compassionate, resilient, and committed to delivering quality care in our dynamic and engaging environment.
