Senior Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Critical Care Nurse to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. As a Senior Critical Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our critical care services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert critical care nursing to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop strategies to address any identified gaps in care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions of care and minimize delays in patient flow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
- Act as a mentor and role model for junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality critical care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to critical care.
- Registered General Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience in critical care.
- Advanced Diploma in Intensive Care or High Dependency Care.
- Experience in bed management, including length of stay.
- Experience in working within a team and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities and situations.
